Primary Education
Concept : -

Education, whether primary, elementary or health education are the basic for our society to grow and develop free nation from illiteracy, ignorance and gain better healthy and wealthy life. Education is most important thing is today's life either for male or for female, either for cities or for villages because without proper education a man/women, boy/girl is just like an animal.
Focus : -

No development can be sustainable and complete without proper education. If a person is literate then they can understand the problems raises in front of their daily life and having the ability to short out that problems. Although economic considerations are recognized as necessary in educational planning, resistance is growing aginst the conventional view that education is chiefly a means for only improving the individual's own economic situation. The gap between urban and rural illetracy is not closing and like several countries, rural illiteracy is two or three times higher than urban illiteracy in India also. Moreover, the quality of education is lower in rural areas. The curricula and textbooks in primary and secondary schools are often urban biased, irrelevant to the needs of the rural people and seldom focus on issues such as skills for life and rural development.
Approaches : -

We adopted an integrated approach to literacy. The approach was designed to takle the enormous illiteracy problem in a holistic manner. By imparting functional literacy as a continuum rather than as a one-off benefit for the illiterate person, progress of literacy efforts would be made goal-directed. Aseed is running the Haryana Prathmik Shiksha Parishad programme, in Haryana, where we run alternate schools in the morning and evening shifts for boys and girls separately. We started Haryana Pradesh Prathmik Shiksha Parishad project in late 2004. Today, we are running 105 alternate schools at different locations in Bhiwani and Jind, and providing non-discriminating education for boys and girls and are playing an important role in sensitizing the community towards gender issues. More than 4000 children are gaining from this effort.
Outcomes : -
This project has started in 1997 and continues till now.
