Eduction
is a continuous and creative process. Through imparting
th elementary and health education, our aim is to develop
the capacities latent in human nature and to coordinate
their efforts for the enrichment and progress of society
by equipping children with the material knowledge. We
also work to develop the capacities for income generation,
develop analytical abilities, confidence, will power
and goal setting competencies. We work hard to make
women understand their position as members of both a
local community and the world community and they must
believe that their lives can make a difference. We strongly
believe that education makes the child/adult a collaborator
both in his own growth and in the development of his
community. A well-educated community member is a determined
yet humble participant, who helps overcome conflict
and division, thereby contributing to a spirit of unity
and collaboration. |

Our

The
core objective of convergence has been to work in close
partnership with the grassroot-level (community-based)
NGO in order to building capacity of SHG leaders in
the related themes and skills. |

Awareness generation on health, hygiene, HIV/AIDS
and sanitation issues
Developing Health facilitators and animators to
activate health services in the region providing health
education at the doorsteps of the targeted community.
Creating awareness among children on the health
and sanitation.
Educating and facilitating the use of alternative
medicinal and healthcare.
Promoting effective convergence with the line departments
for proper utilization of the available projects/shemes
Developing bio-dynamic and cleaner community. |

The
project was initiated in two blocks, Nagina and Punhana
of Mewat district in the month of September 2005, through
administrative activities like team induction, office
set-up etc. were initiated in the middle of August. After
successful initiation of the project in the two blocks,
two more blocks, Firozpur and Hathin, were undertaken
in the middle of August. After successful initiation of
the project in the two blocks, two more blocks, Firozpur
and Hathin, were undertaken in the month of December by
the organization with the help of the Mewat Development
Agency. |

The
convergence process was centred around community skill
upgradation for livelihood supported by SHG animator's
understanding on health awareness. Intensive training
of animators on health awareness was offered to inclucate
the concept of convergence, girl education, women participation
and creating supportive environment through school education
system. |
