(ASEED) URJASAWA Urjasawa is a consortium of Energy, Water and Health.
Energy ( URJA)
Water (Jal)
Health (Swasth)
It imbeds all critical elements of natural resource, for the survival of earth planet and living organism.
Our struggle to come back turbulent climatic up hobbles geographically and globally need to be addressed. By understanding the two most powerful resource of the planet i.e. water and energy (tapped from sunlight and other sources). This has a direct bearing on our survival and the hygiene factors of humanity.
Aseed, a non-profit Non-govt independent organization, has been addressing the process of economic self reliance, livelihood creations over the years.
It has moved slowly to a process of convergence main stream, towards addressing the millennium goal agenda defined by our multi thematic global development organizations.
It has evolved into a consortium of different stake holder (manufacturers, energy and water and livelihood experts, to develop a strategic plan of action at the ground level in diff parts of India with the following broad objectives.
To help mitigate the climatic change processes causing global warming and thereby address the risk mitigation strategy.
To examine the carbon reduction approach compounded by high pollution, and thereby generate sustainable livelihood at the community level.
To conserve natural resources like water and examine it's impact on health and humanity for their survival and growth.
To address concerns towards erosion of social responsibility by corporate world and civil society through bio diversity conservations.
To determine the extent of damage create by water borne diseases like arsenic , fluorite and to provide affordable alternative to the community.
Water, Health and Energy are so intricately intertwined therefore the challenge lies in addressing them collectively in state on a peace mill bases.
Most often our development imperatives have addressed the issue of water and energy in different location, independently that has caused disaster , severe health
hazards, diseases and natural calamities. Our attempt will be through this consortium to work in consonance with multi focus natural resources towards our sustainable development goal.
Scope - Definition of issues
Traditionally most of the projects are donor driven that operate on a specific thematic issue for a specific period.
By the time we are about to address that issues towards completion a new challenges starts confronting us on different thematic area comes to surface.
Likewise a new project takes shape and we often convergence and concurrent approach of multi-development interventions do not take place.
Our endeavour would be to look at such collective strategy through experimentations and innovative mechanism.
