Society for Entrepreneurship Education & Development
(ASEED) is
an Institute that has evolved its own identity as an
autonomous non profit body registered under 1860 Societies
Act, working in the field of development
management. Aseed started its mission
in early 90's and since then it has been contributing
in the area of livelihood creation and sustainable development.
A multi - dimensional novel institution dedicated to
making Sustainable Development to a reality in the Asia
Pacific region. |
Aseed's
strength lies in working with and for the people which
can be seen by its strong foundation at the grassroot
level. It has more than 200 development tasks at the
community level with an integrated approach. Aseed has
been recognized as one of the best implementing partners
in several bilateral projects funded by the World Bank,UN
agencies GOI and successfully worked for several ministries,
NGOs and international development agencies.
Presently,
Aseed has two main divisions named as Aseed-Grameen
& Aseed-Idmat.

Under Aseed-Grameen division, Aseed
has moved forward to create marketing network
for the rural producers through it's CSM (Centre for
Social Marketing). It caters to the need of small and
micro entrepreneurs by marketing support activities.
It has steadily enhanced production & marketing
and launched its brand name ARPAN in
a big way. As the name Arpan stands
for Aseed Rural Producers Association Network,
we are extending these facilities to the local/ rural
producers.Our dream is to develop ARPAN as a separate
national level body to help the artisans and |
rural procedures to promote ARPAN as a known brand in
the market. Recently, Aseed has launched
their new product of Silk Items like silk dress materials,
cushion covers, bed sheets, curtains, shawls, kurta-pyjama,
salwar-suits, sarees and many more with the name silk
handloom cluster from Bhagalpur,
Bihar. |

The
Capacity
Building centre of Aseed has evolved
as an independent wing called IDMAT,
International Institute of Development Management Technology,
which has a unique blend of expertise, which caters
to the need of voluntary sector as well as the corporate
world in the field of institutional building. Highly
experienced and competent Board of Governors guides
Aseed. The organisation is supported by a multi-disciplinary
team of international professional/experts in the related

level Training Programmes which promotes and uplifts
an individual mental, economical as well as social ability.So,
Aseed-IDMAT is an institution that
has evolved its own identity as an International body

in the field of Development Management. IDMAT has trained
more than 3,000 professionals from about 60 countries
throughout the globe. IDMAT is closely working in the
fields of consultancy, training and research for the
corporate world like GE, L&T, Bharti Telecom, Jindals,
Samtel, Procter & Gamble, NTPC, IPCL etc. It has
also developed its professional reputation in developing
research functions by completing several projects for
SDC, UNDP, ILO, EU, Govt. of India, DFID, NABARD, World
Bank, Ministries of the Governments of Sri Lanka, Nepal,
Mauritius, Ghana and Nigeria, to name a few. |
